We went to see Devin Townsend and Symphony X Agora Ballroom this past weekend. The ballroom was a dive, with no seating and nothing even resembling a ballroom. The place smelled bad and every surface was sticky. I no longer enjoy standing around on a sweaty dance floor with a bunch of sweaty kids. Fortunately Devin and Co. rocked the house and put on an amazing show. Symphony X did not do much for me, personally. The singer, Russell Allen has an amazing voice though. I really enjoyed his performance with Arjen Lucassen on the Star One project.
